DAILY DRAWING PROJECTS ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey folks! Here to say for the next few days, I'll likely be unable to do my Daily Storyboards, since I'll be working a freelance job, that will probably take up the lion's share of my day. I'll do my best to get in a Daily Sketch at least, since that's not too much time out of my day, but I don't know that I'll have an extra two full hours to devote to personal storyboards. We'll see how things go, but in case I can't, I wanted everyone to know why! I'm looking forward to doing more when more time opens up again!

Daily Sketch Project Day 111 - Ultraman

Hey everyone!  Here's a suggestion from John, who wanted to see me draw Ultraman, famous Japanese hero, and here I present said drawing to you!  I'm afraid I know little about Ultraman personally, but this seemed a popular pose of his, and I liked the energy, so it's what I chose to portray!

I hope you and everyone else like it, John!  Thanks a bunch for the suggestion!  Sorry it took so long to come up in the random queue.

Daily Storyboard Project Day 22 - Autumn's Discontent: Beach Day

Hey everyone! Back with a few more boards for ya! Riley sees the massive wave towering over him, and quickly jumps to action. Half of the time today was spent doing some thumbnails, which I'm excited to show you in final form in the coming days!

Daily Sketch Project Day 110 - Dangerous Ladies vs. Sand Snakes

Hey everybody!  Today's suggestions comes from Linh, and is an excellent one!  He wanted to see Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee taking on the Sand Snakes, Obara, Nymeria, and Tyene Sand.  An ambitious, excellent idea, with a lot of figures to draw.  I probably could have gotten more of it done, if I hadn't set it in the Water Gardens, but what can I say?  I love that style of architecture, and wanted to include it in the drawing.  It seems to me that the Avatar ladies have designs on the Kingdom of Dorne, but the daughters of Oberyn and Ellaria will have none of it!

There's a lot a LOT more work that could be done on this, but I'm not displeased with how much I got down in the time allotted.  I started by detailing the Fire Nation folk, because their designs are much more ingrained in my mind than the Sand Snakes, even if it's been a while since I've drawn any of them.

I hope you and everyone like it Linh!  Thanks, as always, for the marvelous idea!

Daily Storyboard Project Day 21 - Autumn's Discontent: Beach Day

Hey everyone!  Back with more storyboards for you, an this page is essentially the same, but for the last frame, which I decided to change, in lieu of a different approach to the upcoming scene.

Next I redid the beginning of the new page as well.  Riley stared up at the massive wall of water making its way toward the shore.  Half of today was making some new thumbnails, and I may make some more tomorrow in the same way.  We will see!
