Spooky Art Challenge: Day 17: Bat Wings

Day 16: Bat Wings
Just finished up a storyboard project, and wanted to do another prompt for October, following this list: http://spoopyartchallenge.tumblr.com/post/98845978723/spoopyartchallenge-spoopyartchallenge-what  Certainly got me to learn a little about bat anatomy.  Decided to keep it black and white so it’s uh…kind of Inktober?  It’s all digital, so I don’t know if that counts or not, but oh well.  Something a little creepier than my last drawing, hahah.  SPOOKY TIME!

I hope you enjoy!  : D

Spooky Art Challenge: Day 1: Fall Leaves

Hey everybody!

So I saw this daily art challenge for October and thought it sounded quite fun.  I was waiting on feedback for some work today, so I thought I’d at least get in one.  I think I uh…went a little overboard maybe.  I don’t regret it though.  I’m very please with how it turned out, over all, particularly since I crammed it into a day.  I may continue to work on it and finish it up more in the future, but I wanted to post what I finished on the actual day, so here you go.
It’s Roy (Lee Pace) and Alexandria (Catinca Untaru) from one of my favorite movies of all time, The Fall (see how I worked a pun around into this).  Roy’s is telling Alexandria a fantastical story about why leaves change colors in fall.  I love these two so much, and I want to believe that they stay friends forever and ever ;____;

I hope you folks like it, and Happy October to all!

Geico Sample Storyboards

Hey folks!

Just completed a new sample commercial storyboard sequence based on a Geico script, which can be found here http://tinyurl.com/llt55ho for reference, if you'd like.  This was a fun one to work on.  Got to research a draw a heck of a lot of different characters.  Please feel free to give comments and critique, as always :D

I hope you guys like it!

Fox Animation Storyboard Test

Hey all!

Chris here with some storyboards that I did as a test for Fox Animation!  It was really fun to work on.  They haven't gotten a chance to take a look at it yet.  It would amazing to work there, so fingers crossed!  I hope you folks enjoy my boards.  Feel free to comment and/or critique, as always :)

Ranma 1/2 Ryoga Fanart

Hey folks!

Just a little fanart of Ryoga Hibiki from Ranma 1/2 I sketched up recently during some free time.  Liked it enough to shore up the lines and throw some color at it.  Nothing fancy, but a bit bit of wind-down art amongst professional pursuits.

Hope ya like it!

Sample Commercial Storyboards

Hey folks!

Just finished up a sample storyboard sequence.  Found a script online that sounded like it would be interesting to interpret, and set about boarding it.  If I've done my job right, the idea explains itself.

Enjoy!

Album Cover Update (It's Back!)

Hey folks,

Back again with a long term project I've picked up once more.  Been too long since I posted anything of this, but it's definitely coming along.  It's still got quite a ways ahead of it, but if I look too much at the picture, it'll seem an impossible task.  Just gotta take it a bit at a time!

Hope you enjoy!

Test Compositions

Hey folks!

Apologies for the long delay between posts.  I've actually been doing a fair amount of test work for companies and jobs, but most of it falls under confidentiality contracts that I've signed, so I can't share it at this time.  Here's one thing I can share though: a couple compositions for a storyboarding agency that I did a couple weeks ago.

I was asked to do both in black and white first, one with tones, one without, then to color both, along with some alterations and corrects.  They just gave me some brief descriptions of what they wanted, and here's what I came up with.

Hope you all like 'em!

Album Cover Update

Hey again folks!

This piece was on hiatus for a bit during the holidays, but I've just recently started back working on.  Excited to get back into it and get this thing to final form.  Here's a WIP of whereabouts I am at the moment!

Until the next time!
