Album Cover Update (It's Back!)

Back again with a long term project I've picked up once more.  Been too long since I posted anything of this, but it's definitely coming along.  It's still got quite a ways ahead of it, but if I look too much at the picture, it'll seem an impossible task.  Just gotta take it a bit at a time!

Test Compositions

Hey folks! 


Apologies for the long delay between posts.  I've actually been doing a fair amount of test work for companies and jobs, but most of it falls under confidentiality contracts that I've signed, so I can't share it at this time.  Here's one thing I can share though: a couple compositions for a storyboarding agency that I did a couple weeks ago. 

I was asked to do both in black and white first, one with tones, one without, then to color both, along with some alterations and corrects.  They just gave me some brief descriptions of what they wanted, and here's what I came up with.

Album Cover Update

This piece was on hiatus for a bit during the holidays, but I've just recently started back working on.  Excited to get back into it and get this thing to final form.  Here's a WIP of whereabouts I am at the moment!

This project got delayed because of Thanksgiving and the like, but I’m back on it now, and this is a WIP of where I am right now.  The colors are by no means what the final will look like.  There are about a million and one lines (most of which I’ve made invisible for the screenshot), so I’m just using color variety to make things visually easier for me to identify while working.

Cuvilinear Illustration Commission

Working on an illustration commission, and I’m going curvilinear on it.  Most of the work time on this so far has been grid construction.  That took half my life.  Now we’re at the fun creativity stage.  BUILDINGS

Curvilinear Cube

Heyo! 

I was just messing around with perspective in Photoshop, and I figured I'd work some curvilinear stuff, since I hadn't done any in some time.  Nothing complex, just a cube.  Sort of a curvilinear warmup I suppose.  Anyway, that's about it!

New Commercial Boards

Heyo again!

This was a really cool opportunity.  The original is all in one long shot, so I got to break it up into separate ones and work through the space.  Please feel free to leave any comments and/or criticism, as always!
